Journey Choi is more than just an extraordinary electric cellist; she's a mentor, performer, and passionate advocate for musical expression. From her humble beginnings as a piano prodigy in Seoul, Korea, to her debut as a soloist performing the Cello Concerto in A Minor by Saint-Saens with the Plano Symphony Orchestra at just 14, Journey's journey in music has been remarkable.

Her dedication to her craft led her to prestigious institutions like the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music, where she honed her skills and expanded her musical horizons.

Now based in Dallas, Texas, Journey is not only a mother of two boys but also a full-time live performer and owner of JC Cello Studio. Her talents extend far beyond teaching, as she has enchanted audiences at prestigious events and venues throughout Dallas and beyond.
